The quartet's multifaceted program is composed of new interpretations of jazz standards and original compositions by the ensemble's saxophonist and pianist - Annika Ernst and Marie-Luisa Ehrlich. All four musicians know each other from the lively jazz scene in the Essen area, but have also been artistically active throughout NRW and beyond for many years. They bring experience from a wide variety of musical engagements and styles, which serves, among other things, as an individual source of inspiration for their own compositions and particularly enriches the purely instrumental jazz quartet and gives it its characteristic sound.
