"Recipes" - Recipes - is what jazz singer Ava Charlie has called her debut album. The culinary concept runs through the lyrics and artwork of the album and fits perfectly with the music of the Mainz-based singer, who wants to convey pleasure, love of life and joy. With this mixture she has made it as the first external artist on Tom Gaebel's label Tomofon Records. In addition to her own compositions, Ava Charlie serves her own version of "Volare" and an Italian interpretation of Gregory Porter's "Painted On Canvas". Bon Appétit!
