For this concert, bassist Jan Blikslager has assembled a new quintet of longtime friends, colleagues and roommates to musically celebrate his bachelor's degree after five years of study in Cologne. The musicians, with whom he has otherwise played in bands as diverse as the Mathieu Clement Sextet, BuJazzO, Lukas Passmann Trio, Daniel Migliosi Quintett or Pyramidenpredigt, present a different program this time: original compositions by the bassist, pieces by friends and music by his idols.
