This trio brings together three experimental jazz musicians who have discovered the sketchy pieces of composer and pianist Carla Bley as a playground for themselves. The trio picks up on the minimalist melodies and surprising twists in the compositions, ties in with their own ideas and finds surprising ways to spin the music further. Creative jazz that remains rooted in the 60s.In the 60s, Carla Bley contributed a large part of the pieces for the Paul Bley Trio, whose music influenced renowned artists such as Keith Jarrett and Pat Metheny. Jan Lukas Roßmüller, Nico Klöffer and Joao Raineri now also dedicate themselves to this music.
