Ulf Meyer/ Martin Wind Quartet

The two Flensburg-born musicians Ulf Meyer and Martin Wind have been performing duo concerts for over 30 years, mainly in northern Germany, and will present their latest album "Time Will Tell" in October 2022; they will be supported by pianist Billy Test and drummer Heinz Lichius. This album was recorded at Copenhagen's "The Village" studio in October 2021 following an engagement at the legendary Montmartre Jazzclub. The material consists mainly of original compositions by the two co-leaders, but also of cover versions of well-known jazz classics such as "Django" (Modern Jazz Quartet) or "You look good to me" (Oscar Peterson Trio).

The band's music is always groove-driven and characterized by influences from jazz, blues, folk and Latin American rhythms.
