He is just 19: Daniel Migliosi! Born in Luxembourg in 2004, he already found his instrument, the trumpet, at the age of eight - or rather: the trumpet found him. Daniel has already played in various orchestras such as the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg. He regularly works with and for the WDR Big Band. Daniel Migliosi is without question a musical early starter who found his way to jazz via the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. This is also how Hans-Bernd Kittlaus, board member of the Cologne Jazz Supporters and networker in the jazz scene, was able to discover him. Kittlaus curates the Jazz im LILO series and has invited the Daniel Migliosi Quartet with Benedikt Goeb, Jan Blikslager and Mathieu Clement to Bad Honnef's old indoor swimming pool on the Rhine promenade.
