Celebrated as "Soul Princess" in her home country Belarus, KOOB moved to Berlin in the year of the pandemic. Two and a half years later, award-winning at several jazz competitions (Sparda Jazz Award, Jazzfrühling Kempten, Carinthischer Sommer) she comes to King Georg, supported by the best musicians of the young Berlin jazz and soul scene. The band oscillates between jazz, avant-garde and soul and blends them into a mix that caresses, disturbs and amazes the listener at the same time. This time KOOB will present her latest critically acclaimed (Jazz Thing, Jazz'n'More) album "That Tree", released in June 2023. In her own words, "I've been licking the fruit of knowledge for two years. Now I've taken a bite".
