The saxophonist of "pure desmond" got together with musical companions from the past years to improvise new head arrangements to a golden selection of jazz standards and to be spontaneously creative, just like in a jam session. The four musicians met in this line-up for the first time in the studio and got started right away. The result has now been released on CD by "Major Music" and will be presented in concert just as fresh and lively. The band will also demonstrate its spontaneity at King George. The program includes many soulful ballads, classics and gems of jazz. A feast for friends of tasteful interpretations of the repertoire from the "Great American Songbook".
